Bangladesh has been hit by the worst floods ever, affecting 3 million people and leaving 1.6 million displaced.

Extreme flooding has hit Bangladesh, and so far over 90 people have lost their lives, including 30 children. Areas most affected are in the Sylhet and Sunamganj districts with entire villages now underwater. Many families are stranded, unable to escape and do not have supplied of food and clean water. The situation is catastrophic. Countless homes, schools, hospitals, power supplies, transport links and water supplies have been damaged, having huge impacts on communities and also on aid and rescue missions.

The time to act is right now. The more quickly we can help those affected now, the more lives we can save, families we can protect and futures we can help to shape.
