“And We have sent you (O Muhammad SAW) not but as a mercy for the Alameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists)” [al-Anbiya’ 21:107]

The blessed month of Rabi al Awwal is a month dedicated to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) – The Chosen One.

Prophet Muhammad (saw) was one of the best of creation, encouraging us to do good, serving others and caring for the needy. He was The Chosen One, to bring us the Holy Qur’an, to complete the religion of Islam and to unite the ummah.

During Rabi al Awwal and always, we ask you to join us in remembering the Prophet (saw). One of the best ways to honour him, is to give in charity and support deserving causes around the world.

Caring for orphans is a cause particularly dear to the Prophet Muhammad’s (saw) heart. He (saw) was also an orphan - his father passed away before he was even born, and he lost his mother as a very young child.

‘The Prophet (saw) said, “The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this,“ and he (saw) held his two fingers together to illustrate’. [Bukhari]
