Building a Specialized Hospital in Suez, Egypt that will turn suffering into healing
Due to the ongoing war, thousands of Palestinians are suffering from severe injuries and without access to appropriate medical treatment. The hospitals in Gaza have been destroyed and are struggling to provide medical supplies and equipment to treat critical surgeries. More than 100,000 Palestinians have been moved to Egypt, while more than 15,000 are desperately waiting for medical help near the border.
These vulnerable Palestinians urgently need a facility that can address their medical needs. Setting up a dedicated hospital is necessary so the people who have been through unbearable suffering can find refuge in a new hospital in Suez.
Al Mustafa Global Family has delivered aid to more than 23 countries. Over 250,000 people have been supported, and more than 43,000 have received medical supplies in Gaza. A hospital at the crossroads of crisis and care, it will stand as a beacon for refugees from Gaza and beyond, bridging the gap between urgent need and life-saving treatment.
The construction site for the hospital project was carefully selected because of its strategic location near transportation hubs and infrastructure.
This site is only 30 minutes from Suez and about 40 minutes from the tunnel that connects North Sinai to mainland Egypt. This hospital can cater to patients who often travel hours, or even days, in search of medical help.
For Palestinian refugees, this facility will be their hope for survival. This hospital is close to the Gaza border to handle refugees' immediate medical needs, and it will provide advanced trauma treatment and rehabilitation services to patients in critical condition. Its unique location ensures swift access to care for patients who cannot afford delays, with the capability to transfer them to the nearest medical complex within 25 minutes.
Even though the site is remote, it is fully equipped with essential utilities like electricity, water and sewage systems, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
